I'm currently in my final year of a PhD in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. I've nearly finished a thriller set amongst the murphoisie of Irish London, and have a long critical essay to write on Chester Himes, Walter Mosely and J M O'Neill. 'Letter To Lord Rochester', written over the 21 days of the Iraqi Invasion and its immediate aftermath, was published by Waterloo Press in November 2004. I have a further collection at the press, which will be published in Spring 2006. My work has appeared in The Observer, The TES, London Magazine, PN Review, Acumen and Ambit.
